7.5 Tonne Driver
Location: Exeter, EX5 1EW
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week
Salary: £30,338 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable 7.5T Driver to join our team. This role involves more than just driving; it includes attending client sites, collecting confidential paper documents, and ensuring their secure transport and destruction.
Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Check the vehicle at the start of the shift, completing the defect sheet and reporting any defects 

• Drive vehicles you are licensed to drive and comply with all Driver Regulations, including hours  

• Ensure all appropriate and required equipment to complete your daily duties is loaded onto the vehicle before leaving the depot 

• Review and understand all job sheets before leaving the depot 

• Use the PDA correctly to record daily collection activities and customer information 

• Complete all jobs on time and correctly, either solo or with a driver’s assistant 

• Ensure all paperwork is completed for each job, with items collected recorded and signed for by the client, with a copy handed in at the end of the shift 

• Ensure the material is safe and secure at all times 

About you:  

• Full UK C1 driving licence 

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal 

• Ability to apply the principles of customer care 

• Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times 

• Capable of handling tasks involving lifting and transporting materials
