Assembly Operative

Jobstore are recruiting for Assembly Operatives to join a leading production business based in Bolton to conduct high quality component Wiring and Cable Assembly work.

We are looking for applicants who MUST have previous hands on experience in Soldering, Cable assembly, heat shrinking and wiring to join this leading organisation.

This is a 4 days a week position, working Monday to Thursday 7am until 5pm with Friday off although flexibility is offered for the right people.

We are looking for candidates who are looking for long term work. Ongoing training is assured for the successful candidate but you must come with experience in the following duties;

Your main duties will include:

• Follow standard operating procedures to assemble components and cabling appropriately using soldering and crimping equipment.
• Assembly of components, sub-assemblies, cable assemblies of production and/or development products.
• Simple testing of assembled products.
• Carrying out all necessary cleaning and tidying duties.
• Adhering to the high standard of health and Safety held on this site

A great attention to detail along with the ability to handle micro sized components is essential in this job.
