Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team at GPML Construction a leading development / construction company specialising in residential properties. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and is committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. This role requires you to oversee multiple projects across various locations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Oversee all aspects of on-site construction, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within budget.
Part L : Experience with Part L / Photo Logging.
Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain efficient work?ows.
Health & Safety: Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
Scheduling and Planning: Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met. Buildertrend knowledge or similar is required.
Quality Control: Ensure all work adheres to project specifications and quality standards.
Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, updating them on project progress and addressing any concerns promptly.
Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction, maintaining minimal disruption to the project timeline.
Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, including updates on costs, schedules, and any potential risks.
Will be required to assist on multiple sites.
Key Requirements
· Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager in the construction industry, with a strong track record of delivering projects in fast-paced environments.
· Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
· Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
· Exceptional organisational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
· In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
· Proficiency in project management
· Full UK driving licence.
· Experience working on all types of residential projects, e.g. refurbishments and new builds.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to unexpected challenges.
What We Offer
Salary – £42,000 – £52,000 depending on experience.
