Facilities Manager

Are you an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager with a passion for supporting diverse communities? International Students House (ISH) is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our sites, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our students from across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the upkeep and maintenance of the building, ensuring all facilities are in excellent working condition.
• Lead a team of maintenance staff, contractors, and service providers.
• Oversee health, safety, and compliance across the site.
• Ensure the building meets the needs of international students, offering a home away from home.
• Monitor and manage budgets for repairs, maintenance, and facilities-related projects.
• Coordinate emergency maintenance, as needed, and provide rapid resolutions.

Skills & Experience:

• Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Facilities Manager, with a background in building maintenance, health & safety, and project management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a technical qualification and the ability to support and mentor teams in a hands-on role.
• Experience in strategic property management, including overseeing the maintenance and expansion of buildings, particularly the management of a site and the expansion to a new building.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
• A passion for working with diverse international communities.
