Finance Analyst

Robert Half are recruitng for a Temporary Finance Analyst (6-Month Contract) in the Wiltshire area.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join a team on a temporary 6-month contract.

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or CIMA/ ACCA part qualified, with strong analytical skills and experience in both accounting and data analysis.

This role will focus on analysing sales data, supporting month-end duties, and utilising tools like Power BI and Excel to drive meaningful insights.

• Analyse sales data and provide insightful reporting to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with the finance team for month-end close duties, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Utilise Power BI and Excel for data analysis, visualisation, and reporting.
• Prepare and communicate financial insights to stakeholders.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and trend analysis projects as needed.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
• Support ad hoc finance projects and initiatives.

• AAT qualified or part qualified in finance/accounting.
• Strong experience in data analysis with advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency with Power BI for analytics and visualisation.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes.
• Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to present financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
