Finance Director

Our client is a Greater Manchester based fast paced e-commerce business operating throughout the UK and Europe.

We have been retained by the business due to their continued success to hire a Finance Director who will work closely with the CEO and take full ownership of the finance function. This hire will play a crucial role in driving their next growth period. The successful candidate will drive financial strategy whilst being proactive and hands on.

The role

• Working closely with the CEO, own financial strategy, systems and processes

• Build and nurture the finance function, taking ownership of modelling, forecasting, cashflow management and profitability

• Own, develop and further refine financial models, driving key commercial decisions

• Work closely with colleagues in marketing, trading and operations to provide data which will drive actionable insights

• Manage cashflow and working capital as the business continues to grow

• Enhance business and financial efficiencies with streamlined and automated systems

The candidate

• A proven leader with experience in a high growth ecommerce, retail or wholesale brand Fully Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA

• Experience working in a fast paced environment

• Proficient in modelling, forecasting and cashflow management

• A data driven mind that can bring the numbers to life for people outside of the finance function

• Experience on system implementations and process development.

• Strong finance leader that engages and develop and mentor.
