Finance Manager

SF Group are excited to be working with a business based in North Birmingham on their search for a Finance Manager.

Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Birmingham

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the finance function while working closely with and supporting the Finance Director to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

– Oversee the production of group financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance
– Lead month-end and year-end consolidation processes
– Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions
– Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital
– Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
– Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and senior stakeholders
– Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function
– Lead ERP system improvements to enhance reporting, automation, and data accuracy

The Successful Applicant:

– Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience
– Strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally with consolidation experience
– Previous experience in a multi-entity business or group finance role
– Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
– Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail
– Experience in ERP system improvements and implementation is a strong advantage
