Assistant Hospitality Manager

  • Annual Salary: £26,038 plus benefits
  • Location: Bath
  • Job Type: Permanent

Reed is representing a leading institution in Bath in their search for an Assistant Hospitality Manager. This pivotal role involves overseeing the daily management of one or two catering outlets, catering to a diverse clientele including students, staff, and external guests, particularly during the busy summer months.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the catering outlets, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and lead teams, ensuring staff are motivated, well-trained, and deliver high-quality service.
  • Adapt and respond effectively to varying operational hours and customer needs between term time and summer months.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and policies.
  • Coordinate with different teams to manage functions and events smoothly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in front of house hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and reporting procedures.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy and pressurised environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including early mornings, evenings, and some weekends as required by events.
