Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Manchester City Centre

Job Type: Temporary, Ongoing

Pay Rate: £19.27 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in the heart of Manchester City Centre. As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department’s daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of HR-related tasks. This is a temporary, ongoing position with an hourly pay rate of £19.27.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency across the organisation.

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job adverts, screening applications, and conducting interviews.

  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including benefits, payroll, and performance management.

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and departing employees.

  • Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs.

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

  • Prepare HR reports and analyse data to support decision-making.

  • Stay updated on HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.

  • CIPD qualification or working towards it is desirable.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources.

Working Hours:

  • This is a temporary position with ongoing work.

  • The hourly pay rate is £19.27.

  • Working hours are typically Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility as required. once trained and familiar with everything, hybrid working can then be an option.
