Legal Cashier | £28,000 | Liverpool

We are recruiting for a Legal Cashier for a well known firm in Liverpool.

As Legal Cashier, you will be support the transactional finance team, carrying out the following duties in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules and other regulations:

• Posting treasury transactions
• Posting client payments and receipts
• Managing a large volume of bank accounts with daily bank reconciliations
• Assisting other offices with related finance requests around client matter transactions and bill processing
• Dealing with enquiries to support the wider finance team
• Assisting with routine account maintenance
• Processing disbursements and supporting with overaged items as and when required
• Supporting with process improvements across finance

Ideally, you will have experience or be able to:

• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast and accurate manner
• Work independently as well as part of a team
• Organise and prioritise duties effectively
• Communicate well with stakeholders both inside and external to the firm
• Ideally have worked in a Legal Cashier role, or in a finance role within a legal firm
• SRA knowledge
