Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Jobstore are recruiting for a skilled Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our world-leading manufacturing client in Wythenshawe, Manchester. (Electrical bias needed) on a Permanent basis.

The successful candidate will working as part of a team, responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment and machinery across this clean and presentable manufacturing facility, ensuring production capacity is at 100%.

You will be required to;

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Repair or replace faulty components, including welding repairs where necessary, adhering to safety standards.
• Work on PLCs (Mitsubishi) to optimise machine performance.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate maintenance tasks.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and continuous improvement purposes.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times during maintenance operations.
• Carry out general FM building maintenance tasks as necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service internally by supporting production needs promptly and effectively.

We require someone who has;

• Good experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Good electrical experience with knowledge of PLC faultfinding and troubleshooting.
• Mechanical knowledge including welding skills and familiarity with schematics.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics accurately.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
