Warehouse Operator

This role is based at our warehouse in Poole in Dorset. Please note that the work involves lifting and carrying within the regulatory safety limits. Previous warehouse experience is not necessary but a willingness to learn and a can do attitude is required.

Hours of work are: Monday – Thursday – 0830 -1700 with a 1600 finish on a Friday.

Salary £25,000/annum

Duties

• Driving fork-lift truck – training will be given
• Loading / unloading vehicles
• Booking deliveries into stock: check weighing, recording, taking samples for QC and store.
• Processing stock (i.e. filtering, re-packing) to make it ready for sale.
• Picking and packing of orders and preparing for despatch.
• Checking orders prior to despatch to ensure they have been packed and labelled correctly.
• Blending flavours / fragrances according to an approved recipe.
• Cleaning of equipment, factory and warehouse as per the cleaning schedule and the recording of this.
• Ensuring that company safety policies and health & safety regulations are followed in the warehouse.

Previous warehouse experience is preferable but not essential. Candidates should have good communication and organisational skills and be able to pick up new systems and procedures quickly.
